DePuy Hip Implants
Hip replacement surgery and recovery is a serious endeavor. Tragically, 1 in 8 hip replacement patients who received the DePuy Orthopaedics ASR™ XL Acetabular System and DePuy ASR™ Hip Resurfacing System implants as of July 2003 or later have had to go back under the knife for revision surgery. DePuy recalled both types of implants after numerous complaints of tissue damage caused by metal shavings from the device or total implant failure.
If you or a loved one received one of these DePuy implants and suffered implant failure, tissue damage or severe pain, ask The Insiders of The McMahan Law Firm to help you with your settlement. If you know the implant you received is part of the recall, contact us as soon as possible so we can ensure you get appropriate revision surgery and treatment.
If you do not know what kind of implant you received, please contact the surgeon who did your hip replacement surgery to find out.
